Nero D’avola has always been probably the most famous grape variety of Sicily. The wine presents an intense red color with purple reflections. The bouquet is reminiscent of wild berries, vanilla and hints of eucalyptus. The taste is pleasantly full-bodied, followed by a fruity note. It goes perfectly with hearty dishes such as grilled meats, roasts, game and cheese.
